Integrative Medicine?

Integrative Medicine combines evidence-based medicine with alternative medicine practices to meet the total needs of a patient. This approach includes addressing imbalances of the body, mind, and spirit to promote health and wellness. Because the causes and symptoms of “dis-ease” of a patient can be so different, the physician-patient relationship is vitally important to getting to root causes of problems that cause these health challenges. Because the needs of a patient cannot be adequately met in average 10 to 15-minute clinic appointment of the conventional medicine model, patients are typically treated for symptoms when they really need a deeper investigation that will give them a solution.

Less invasive testing or specialized diagnostic tests can be used to aid in the investigation of root causes of many chronic illnesses. However, in many instances, addressing lifestyle choices of an individual may be the key to unlocking and maintaining wellness. At Healing Hands Holistic Health, PLLC we not only focus on restoring balance and health, but the prevention of “dis-ease” as well. We are here to help coach you through the changes needed to improve your quality of life.
